More than 15,000 migrants have already crossed the Channel in small boats in 2025 – a shocking 35% rise on last year, and nearly double the 2023 figure. With 1,195 arrivals in a single day, the crisis is spiralling as criminal gangs flood the UK and border security is overwhelmed.
