Britain’s longest cold case SOLVED after nearly SIX DECADES

The UK’s longest running cold case has been solved after a 92-year-old man has been jailed for life for rape and murder of a widow in 1967.

Ryland Headley was 34 when he broke into Louisa Dunne’s Bristol home and attacked her.

A jury found him guilty nearly six decades later after new evidence came to light.

The judge called it a pitiless and cruel act by a depraved man.
